(Especially useful for a GM, but would be also useful for a PC.) If anyone has hacked something like this together, I'd love to hear how you did it.

I don't think Roll20 supports this, but I figured I'd mention it anyways: is there any way to have tokens, or other terrain trigger a pop-up, or a tool-tip when you hover over them? For instance, if I made a world-map on Roll20, put it on the map layer, and then used tokens to represent places on that map, is there a way to show a journal entry for that location when I mouse over the corresponding token? It would be really cool to be able to just hover over locations and immediately get a pop-up of their corresponding character sheet or journal entry. Normally I'd run this with a grid, but we are all Warmachine players and it just feels wrong for IKRPG. I know I can make character's tokens into drawings and thus free them from the grid, but is there a way to snap them off of the grid entirely? Or to have a completely grid-less environment? Or a way to measure distances (like with a measuring tape) that doesn't automatically snap to the grid? It isn't very useful being able to measure distances if I can only measure from one grid-box to another. For some reason, after a short period of time (< 10 minutes) I eventually lose the ability to snap to the grid WHILE Im moving features.

Is there any way to do away with the grid for a measurement based game? (I know how to make the grid invisible) I was looking into running Iron Kingdoms on Roll20, and it really benefits from a 'measuring tape' sort of environment.
